EDGEWATER, Fla. (July 2, 2018) – Boston Whaler made a donation of $1,252 to the Atlantic Center for the Arts (ACA) in support of the center's community programs, reflecting a fundraising raffle that took place earlier this year during the IMAGES Art Festival. Whaler representative and Manager of Content and Event Marketing,Traci Davis, presented a check for the donation on Friday, June 22, 2018.
"On behalf of the Boston Whaler team, we're proud to present this check to the Atlantic Center for the Arts in support of its children's programs," said Davis. "We're grateful for this opportunity to give back to our community. It's so gratifying to see our efforts directly help students pursue their interest in the arts."
Now in its 42nd year, IMAGES: A Festival of the Arts is an annual event held in New Smyrna Beach, Fla., featuring fine art, live music, student art exhibits, educational opportunities and more. Boston Whaler hosted a display and raffled off an original plein-air painting by artist Cathy Berse depicting a boating scene. The amount raised during the raffle will allow the ACA to provide 12 kids with scholarships for a week of Summer Art Camp.
"The ACA team greatly appreciates Boston Whaler's involvement over the past few years with IMAGES and our community, raising money to send our kids to Summer Art Camp," said Heather Paternoster, Special Events Coordinator for the ACA.
